RC Airliner - main guide lines

When looking for a RC Airliner there are many options out there, the main three kinds are Electric, Propelled motor and Jet powered.
The propelled engine one is usually a less realistic model since today's real life airliners are mostly jet powered.
The jet powered RC Airliner is without a doubt the fastest one of the three as well as the most powerful one and requires a high level of skills. Being the most advanced one out of the three it is also the most expensive and requires going to special fields (so is the propelled one), fueling up between flights and maintenance of the motors
The Electric RC Airliner is the cheapest version of the three and it is usually not to big to fly in parks by skilled pilots only
although it is electric and not as fast as the Jet RC Airliner, it is still very fast and much to hard for beginners to handle.
the Electric RC Airliner does not have to handle melting temperatures which makes it possible to construct with easy to shape materials allowing a 100% accuracy compare to the real thing.
if you are a beginner reading this and looking to start RC flying I would suggest that you look for a trainer RC Airplane to begin with, if you are not looking to invest to much and are not over excited about using fuel in your model go for an electric RC Airplane, it will be the cheapest and fastest way for you to start flying and you will not have to go a long way to be able to fly it

getting back on the subject, RC Airliner flying can be done only by first acquiring the skills needed, it is the landing that is only possible if you know what you are doing
if you are looking to build your own RC Airliner there are many ways available, I would say foam with electric gear will be the easiest to start with and allows a wide range of designs and more realistic modeling
for jet and propelled RC Airliner use balsa wood which is very strong yet light on weight
I strongly believe a beginner can build a first electric RC Airplane with depron foam in just two weeks!
there are plans and kits available on line for next to nothing, I will post links shortly.
